Birmingham Library

Denco Thermal Limited were appointed to carry out the insulation works at the new Library of Birmingham project which consisted of over 28,000m of pipework, 8,000m² of ductwork and 1000m² of specialist fire rated cladding. We were also the first insulation company in the UK to install pipework and ductwork insulation with a black foil finish where services are on view to the public. The overall project was in excess of £800,000.00.

Greenwich Reach

Denco Thermal Limited were appointed to carry out the insulation works at the Greenwich Reach Development on behalf of JS Wright& Co Limited, we have completed Phase 1 and 2 and are currently working on Phase 3. Our insulation package included approximately 100,000m of pipework insulation to heating and domestic services. 60,000m of which was Armacell self seal tube and 40,000m of Kooltherm phenolic foam insulation.

 

 

 

04HMP Oakwood – Formally known as Featherstone Prison

Denco Thermal Limited were appointed to carry out insulation at the Oakwood Prison site (which during construction was known as Featherstone Prison) on behalf of Balfour Beatty Engineering Services for Kier Build. This project was a multi building development which consisted of 7500m of ductwork insulation and 19,000km of pipework insulation as well as an off-site module system, where works were also carried out by DTL within the specialist module shop. A high majority of the contract was specialist aluminium cladding which was installed to our very high standard.

Aldgate Tower

Denco Thermal Limited were awarded the insulation package at the new Aldgate Tower building in Central London on behalf on Mercury Engineering. The project is a new build multi story office development which consisted of over 15,000m² of ductwork insulation and over 19,000m of pipework insulation. Elements of the project were carried out off-site with pre-fabricated modules. The project also involved a considerable amount of aluminium cladding and specialist fire rated ductwork. the overall project was in excess of £550,000.00

Telford Princess Royal Hospital

Due to our long and established relationship with Balfour Beatty Engineering we were awarded the Princess Royal Hospital project in Telford, the project consisted of over 3,000m² of ductwork and 20,000m of pipework insulation with specialised finishes where required and as previous projects we completed the works to program and to the highest possible standard and hope our great working relationship with Balfour Beatty continues in the future. The project totalled over £270,000.00.

 

 

Morriston Hospital – Swansea morriston

Denco Thermal Limited were awarded the insulation package at the new Morriston Hospital in Swansea on behalf of Balfour Beatty Engineering Services. The project is a new build multi-storey Hospital development which consisted of over 9,000m² of ductwork insulation and over 20,000m of pipework insulation. Elements of the project were carried out off-site with pre-fabricated modules. The project also involved a considerable amount of aluminium cladding and specialist fire rated ductwork. The overall project was in excess of £320,000.00.

 

 

sel Selfridges Store – Birmingham

DTL were called in by Selfridges maintenance department to replace insulation to the ductwork systems at the prestigious  and iconic Selfridges store at Birmingham’s Bull Ring shopping centre. Our scope of works was to strip off the existing mineral fibre and aluzinc steel sheeting before replacing them with TP10 Kingspan board and Ventureclad weatherproof protection.. This was a logistical challenge in the 6 week run up to Christmas, working around the numerous stock deliveries, to remove the 1500m² from site and having the new insulation delivered and installed. Denco Thermal were commended by Sefridges on our professionalism throughout the project and were very impressed with end result.

 

John Lewis Store – Leicesterleicester

Denco Thermal Limited were appointed to carry out the insulation works at the new John Lewis Leicester project on behalf of Norstead Engineering which consisted of over 4,000m of pipework, 3,000m² of internal ductwork and 1500m² of specialist finish external ductwork. We have also carried out works at John Lewis Cambridge and the John Lewis Home store in Tamworth, as well as numerous Waitrose Stores throughout the UK.
